WESTBROOK HIGH SCHOOL COMPETITION, BEAUMONT, TX 10/25/08
"There were approximately 12 teams in the competition.  Alvin High School Marine Corps JROTC finished as overall Champions for the Drill Meet for the Second Year in a Row!  All those hours of after school and at home practices came to fruition.  Congratulations to the cadets.  It was truly a group effort.  Also, thanks to a great group of parents and supporters, we had a great meet and a fun time.  The parents and supporters had more fun than the cadets I think.  Because of them, Alvin also got the Spirit Award for the competition.  Way to go Parents and Supporters!!"
